Valvoline OEM Advanced 48 Coolant is a premium coolant suitable for passenger cars, light trucks, buses, and heavy-duty and off-road applications.

This high-grade coolant is designed to protect engines and engine components from freezing in cold winter temperatures and boiling in hot summer conditions.

The unique formula of the Valvoline OEM Advanced 48 Coolant is ethylene glycol-based and suitable for all engine types. It is a low-silicate, low pH, phosphate-free technology-based coolant that is designed to prevent corrosion of all cooling system metals, including aluminum.

Valvoline OEM Advanced 48 Coolant and Antifreeze is a superior hybrid technology-based coolant.

It offers long-life protection for superior performance and has a service life of up to 5 years / 250.000 km for passenger cars and up to 3 years / 500.000 km for heavy-duty applications.

This automotive coolant is engineered to protect coolant channels in the engine block, cylinder heads (liner pitting), radiator, and water pump of an engine against common performance-hindering issues like corrosion and extreme temperatures.

Furthermore, the formula also contains a high-standard defoamer that will not inflict damage to gaskets, hoses, plastics, or original vehicle paint.

Similar to other types of Valvoline™ coolants and antifreeze, it is available in two formulations:

1. Valvoline OEM Advanced 48 Coolant  Ready to Use product for -36ºC freezing temperatures, and

2. Valvoline OEM Advanced 48 Coolant Concentrate to be diluted with demineralized water in the following ratios:

• 40 vol% solution below -24°C
• 50 vol% solution below -36°C.

It is important to note that the analysis values of the water may not exceed the following threshold values:

• Water hardness 0 – 2,7 mmol/l
• Chloride content max. 100 ppm
• Sulfate content max. 100 ppm
