Tectyl 5502W is a premium, water-based, soft, waxy, oily corrosion protection compound. The product is designed to protect non-ferrous and ferrous metal components during storage indoors, in closed warehouses or during transportation. The compound can be used in most applications where Tectyl 502-C and its derivatives are used, except gearboxes. After curing, it forms a transparent, soft, oily film of yellow amber color.
