EARTH OPEN GEAR GREASE
Valvoline Earth Open Gear is high-performance and high viscosity semi-fluid lubricating grease for central lubrication systems for open gear transmissions used in mining, quarry, construction, cement, steel and other general industrial applications.
Valvoline Earth Open Gear is fortified with extreme pressure additives and a special thickener that provides excellent load-carrying capacity of permanently high and impact loads. This grease has demonstrated to offer excellent anti-wear properties, great adhesion and superb corrosion protection in open gears. It can help to reduce vibrations and noise.
Heavy loaded gear performance. Because of its extra high viscosity, extreme pressure additives and special thickener Valvoline Earth Open Gear grease provide excellent adhesiveness and great mechanical and colloidal stability in slow-moving heavy loaded open gears.
Special protection for open gears. Because of the nature of open gears, this grease is specially developed to form a strong protective film on the gears to keep water and dust out and to protect against high-pressure temperatures, early oxidation and premature wear. It can help to reduce operational costs, by extending lubrication intervals and saving on maintenance activities.
Improved working conditions. The absence of toxic or smearing components improves the working environmental conditions. Its enhanced grease formulation results in grease that does not dry out at high temperatures and does not form a hard paste in the roots of the gear. Consequently, this grease can help to reduce noise levels and equipment vibrations.
*Check the owner's manual and/or product information sheet before use.
Valvoline Earth Open Gear is recommended for central lubrication systems and suitable for lubrication of open transmission gears, racks, ring gears and chain pulleys by central system procedure, by spraying – dispersing. It is also recommended for lubrication of steel ropes, sliding cylindrical, and ball surfaces with significant, high specific loads.
