Valvoline ATF heavy-duty transmission lubricants improve automatic transmission service life thanks to its formulation that consists of synthetic base oils and long-life additives. In addition, the modern additives that are a part of its formula protect the gearbox against corrosion, oxidation, foaming, and formation of deposits.

Not only do heavy-duty ATF fluids provide improved protection against wear and tear under high-stress working conditions, but they also resist aging and have good thermal stability.

The Heavy Duty ATF PRO range is officially OEM approved and designed for use by true professionals to ensure high performance and protection in modern, in-warranty, automatic transmissions of trucks, buses, and other vehicles.*

The conventional Heavy Duty ATF fluids are best recommended for use in multi-vehicle/multi-brand operations when trucks, buses, and other vehicles have run out of warranty and no longer require an officially approved (and more expensive) driveline lubricant.

Valvoline HD ATF oils can be used in some hand-shifted transmissions and are sometimes recommended as hydraulic oil in earthmoving machines or hydraulic lifting equipment and as power steering fluid.*
