The engine coolant is free of amines, borates, and phosphates making it friendlier to the environment.

HD Extended Life protects the cooling systems against frost, corrosion, and overheating for at least three years, 7 000 hours, or 500 000 kilometers.

This powerful engine coolant is created to provide high levels of protection even at low winter temperatures.

HD Extended Life keeps the cooling system working efficiently by keeping heat transfer surfaces and passages clean and as a result, extends the lifespan of the cooling system.

Thanks to its unique formula which makes it adequate to use in all HD engines with all materials, there is no risk of misapplication. Plus, as it can be used with different types of engines, it requires less storage.

Valvoline HD Extended Life is adequate for all modern and older engines including modern vehicles with aluminum engines as well as older vehicles with cast-iron engines.

Furthermore, it is suitable for use in HOAT, OAT, and Si-OAT applications.

HD Extended life is available as:

• Ready-to-Use (RTU), for freezing temperatures up to -38°C,
• Concentrate, which can be mixed with water in several concentrations depending on the desired protection against freezing (see chart at the bottom of the HD Extended Life Concentrate sheet), and
• -67 RTU, for freezing temperatures up to -67°C.*
